Zambezi Strategy Group is a strategic advisory and brand consultancy working across African markets and internationally. The Website provides information about ZSG, its capabilities, perspectives, areas of expertise, opportunities and related initiatives, and is intended primarily for professional, commercial, institutional and general informational use.
Using the Website, reading its content or contacting ZSG through the Website does not, by itself, create a client, consultant, agency, fiduciary, partnership or other professional relationship between you and ZSG. A client or professional engagement exists only where ZSG and the relevant party have expressly agreed to an engagement and, where applicable, entered into appropriate written contractual documentation. Nothing on the Website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance to provide consulting services on any particular terms.
We aim to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and useful. However, Website content is provided for general informational purposes and may not reflect the most recent developments, market conditions, regulatory requirements or circumstances applicable to your particular situation. You should not rely on Website content as a substitute for professional, legal, financial, tax, regulatory or other specialist advice.
ZSG publishes perspectives, essays, research, commentary and other editorial material representing analysis and opinion for general informational purposes. References to markets, industries, organisations, jurisdictions, economic conditions or commercial opportunities should not be interpreted as guarantees, forecasts or representations that a particular outcome will occur.
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its contents — including text, articles, research, frameworks, methodologies, models, diagrams, graphics, photographs, logos, trademarks, visual identity, page designs and Website structure — are owned by or licensed to ZSG. The ZSG name, branding, logos, frameworks, proprietary methodologies and other distinctive materials may constitute intellectual property rights belonging to ZSG or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.
You may access and view the Website, download or print reasonable portions of publicly available material for personal or internal business reference, share links to publicly available pages, and refer to ZSG and its published work in a fair and accurate manner. You must not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or systematically extract Website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law, and must not present ZSG’s materials, frameworks or methodologies as your own.
Where you reproduce or refer to ZSG editorial or research content, you must give appropriate attribution and identify the relevant ZSG publication where reasonably possible, and must not alter or present ZSG content in a way that creates a misleading impression about its meaning, authorship, conclusions or affiliation.
You must not use the Website for unlawful purposes; to infringe the rights of ZSG or another person; to introduce malware or other harmful material; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its infrastructure; to interfere with the Website’s operation or security; to scrape or systematically extract content for commercial purposes without permission; to impersonate ZSG or misrepresent an affiliation with ZSG; to use ZSG intellectual property in a misleading or fraudulent manner; or in any manner that could damage the Website, ZSG’s reputation or the rights of third parties.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, publications, platforms or resources, provided for convenience or further information. ZSG does not control third-party websites and does not necessarily endorse their content, products, services, policies or practices, and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or content.
The Website may contain information about ZSG Links and other products, initiatives or services. Information published about such initiatives is descriptive and does not itself constitute a binding offer, subscription agreement, licence or commercial contract. Access to any restricted platform, service or initiative may be subject to separate terms, agreements, eligibility requirements and commercial arrangements, which will govern the relevant service where they apply.
Information published on the Website concerning employment, contractor, consultancy, partnership or other opportunities is provided for recruitment and informational purposes. Publication of an opportunity does not guarantee an interview, appointment, engagement or contract. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to ZSG is accurate and that they have the right to provide any third-party information included in their application.
The Website is not intended to provide a secure channel for submitting confidential commercial information. Unless ZSG has expressly agreed otherwise in writing, information submitted through ordinary email or Website communications should not be assumed to be confidential or protected by a formal confidentiality obligation. If you need to disclose commercially sensitive information, please contact us first to discuss appropriate arrangements.
We aim to keep the Website available and secure but do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components, and may suspend, withdraw, modify or discontinue all or part of the Website without notice where reasonably necessary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZSG does not guarantee that the Website will meet every user’s requirements, that Website content will always be complete or current, that the Website will be uninterrupted, that defects will always be corrected, or that the Website will be free from harmful components. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZSG will not be responsible for losses arising solely from your reliance on general Website content where that content was not provided to you as professional advice under a separate engagement, and will not be liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict your statutory rights.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses reasonably incurred by ZSG as a result of your unlawful use of the Website, your deliberate misuse of ZSG intellectual property, or your material breach of these Terms, except to the extent the loss was caused by ZSG’s own negligence, breach of law or other circumstances for which ZSG is legally responsible.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you should review the Privacy Policy to understand how your information is handled.
We may update or change the Website and these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the Website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If ZSG does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean ZSG has waived that right. A waiver will only be effective where expressly made in writing.
These Terms constitute the terms governing your general use of the Website. They do not replace or modify any separate written agreement between you and ZSG relating to consulting services, employment, contractor services, partnerships, platform access or any other commercial relationship. Where separate written terms apply to a particular service, those terms will take precedence over these Website Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
These Terms and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website.
